Quantum Imaging

Las aplicaciones de la Óptica Cuántica son un campo de gran actividad en la comunidad científica y técnica actual. Entre ellos, el uso de fotones correlacionados para superar los límites clásicos en las mediciones de absorbancia y transmitancia tiene un gran auge. El programa QIS (Quantum Information Science) juega un papel central. El objetivo es explotar la ventaja de utilizar la tecnología Skipper-CCD en este campo para contar fotones individualmente en un amplio rango completo de 0 a 2000.

The applications of Quantum Optics are a field of great activity in the current scientific and technical community. Among them, the use of correlated photons to overwhelm the classical limits in absorbance and transmittance measurements is growing. The QIS program (Quantum Information Science) plays a central role. The aim is to exploit the advantage of using the Skipper-CCD technology in this field for counting photons individually in a large full range from 0 to 2000.
